Natalie Guy

Natalie Guy holds a Master of Fine Arts (First Class Honours) from Elam School of Fine Arts, The University of Auckland. She is inspired by architecture, often reflecting mid-century modern design. Guy works with a variety of materials, bronze, glass and wood, and found objects, and she often creates large works in steel. 

Natalie has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, awards and collections. She was awarded a Merit Award in the National Contemporary Art Award 2014 and won the Woollahra Small Sculpture Award (Australia) 2014. She was also the inaugural recipient of an Asia NZ Foundation residency to Varanasi, India 2017. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Fine Arts at Elam.

This is Natalie’s third time exhibiting with Sculpture in the Gardens.
